come across a 'date of birth' section on wikipedia.com, and read 1980, with the words twenty-seven years in parentheses.

my first reaction is GOSH THAT'S OLD!

and then i think:
wait, well, 1980, that's close to 1987, when i was born,

then i think:

shit, i'm going to be 20 in a few months.

then i think:

shit.
